Restrictions
- For safety reasons, free rides for infants sitting on a lap are not permitted. Those under 15 years old must apply and be accompanied by a guardian. Children under 4 years old cannot participate.
Other notes
- The walking trails in Kamikochi include wooden paths and unpaved roads. Please participate in comfortable walking shoes and clothing where a little dirt won't stand out.
- Meals are not included. Please arrange your own meals freely.
- The tour will proceed in the rain. However, the Prefectural Kamikochi Park Line may be closed due to rainfall regulations, etc. If the possibility of a road closure is extremely high, the departure may be canceled. In addition, if unexpected sudden weather changes or road closures occur after departure, the itinerary may be changed to a free walk around Matsumoto Castle. Please note this in advance.
- Images, including the scenery of Kamikochi, are for illustrative purposes only. The actual scenery may differ depending on the season and other factors.
- A tour conductor or bus guide will not accompany you.
- If there are road closures on the day of the tour, or if the risk of such closures is extremely high, the tour may be canceled. In the event of a cancellation, we will notify you as soon as the decision is made. (The tour fee will be fully refunded.)
- Depending on road and weather conditions, arrival and departure times at Kamikochi may change, the stay time may be shortened, or the return arrival time may be delayed.
- We cannot accept claims for expenses incurred due to a shortened stay in Kamikochi, or for transportation and accommodation costs after the return arrival, under any circumstances.
- The bus will be operated by a crew of 2 members. (The same bus will be used for both the outward and return journeys.)
- It is a 4-row seat bus and is not equipped with a restroom.
- For both the outward and return journeys, the bus is scheduled to stop at service areas or parking areas about once every 2 hours for a 10 to 15-minute break.
- Customers who purchased the 1 Person 1 Seat plan: Bus seats will be assigned by our company. For groups of 2, seats will be next to each other. For groups of 3 or more, seats will be arranged together (front/back or left/right). Single participants and groups with an odd number of people may be seated next to other passengers. Customers who purchased the 1 Person 2 Seats plan: Bus seats will be assigned by our company. For groups of 2 or more, seats will be arranged close to each other.
- Smoking is prohibited on the bus.
- After arriving at Kamikochi, the crew will take a break and the bus will be locked. The return bus will be the same as the outbound bus, but please make sure to take all necessary belongings with you.
- Large suitcases can be stored in the trunk (up to 1 per person).
