Required reading
- On the event day, please present your electronic voucher at the "átoa Ticket 2nd Floor Counter" and exchange it for a physical ticket.
- If the number of people changes on the day, please inquire at the local counter. Contact the local group reception desk at 078-771-9393.
- To visit the aquarium, visitors must make an advance reservation for admission. Additionally, there will be a limit on the number of people allowed during each admission period. If visitors are unable to enter the aquarium during their desired admission time, they will be accommodated according to the waiting time period they prefer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Due to congestion, we may be unable to accommodate your entry during the scheduled time. Your reservation will be canceled in such cases, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
- It is recommended to check the official website for any changes in business hours or operations due to natural disasters or equipment maintenance. Please visit https://atoa-kobe.jp/english/ in advance.

Restrictions
- Children under three years old can enter for free.
- Children under elementary school must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the aquarium.
- Please avoid entering again.
- For group tours, only the tour guide can enter for free. The photographer and driver will be charged a fee.
- One child aged 3 to 6 may enter free of charge with each adult. However, this does not apply to combo tickets with other facilities.
Other notes
- You are welcome to take photos while you are inside the aquarium. However, please ensure that you do not cause any inconvenience to other visitors. Avoid occupying space with large equipment and refrain from using flash photography in prohibited areas to protect wildlife. Additionally, kindly refrain from live streaming during visiting.
- Pets are prohibited except for guide, service, and hearing dogs.
- It is recommended to arrive early due to potential traffic congestion in surrounding areas and parking lots.

Business Hours Hours: 10:00–19:00 *Please note that guests may be required to wait before entry on peak days or during busy periods. *Business hours may change due to private events. *Closed on maintenance days. ●Closed Notice The facility will be closed for maintenance during the following period: June 30, 2026 (Tue) – July 2, 2026 (Thu) *Please note that from June 29 to July 10, some zones (ELEMENTS) will also be unavailable for viewing. Special dates: August 8 (Sat) – August 16 (Sun), 2026. During this period, business hours will be extended as follows: 9:00 – 19:30 (Last admission 19:00)
