Six days, five nights, and every stop that makes a first trip to Japan unforgettable. Start with two nights in Tokyo — Asakusa's temple gates, Shibuya's crossing, Meiji Shrine's forest — then ride toward Mt. Fuji for a Hakone day of lake, ropeway and a night in an onsen ryokan. The shinkansen carries you to Kyoto for vermilion torii tunnels and Gion at dusk, and after a morning with Nara's bowing deer you finish among the neon of Osaka. Private guide and transfers throughout; the pace is yours.

Your driver meets you at Narita or Haneda arrivals and takes you straight to the hotel — no train maps on day one. If energy allows, an easy evening walk through Shinjuku's lantern-lit lanes ends with your first bowl of ramen.
Morning at Sensoji: through the great Kaminarimon lantern and the Nakamise stalls before the crowds peak, with Tokyo Skytree rising behind the rooflines. Cross the city to Meiji Shrine's cedar forest, walk Omotesando, then stand in the middle of Shibuya Crossing when the lights change. Evening free in Ginza or Shinjuku.
Drive out of Tokyo toward the mountains. Cruise across Lake Ashi, then ride the Hakone Ropeway over the steaming Owakudani valley — on clear days Mt. Fuji stands over the ridgeline. Check into an onsen ryokan: dinner in yukata, hot-spring bath under the night sky.
Board the bullet train — 2 hours of countryside at 285 km/h. In Kyoto, walk the vermilion torii tunnels of Fushimi Inari as far up the mountain as your legs want, then climb the lanes to Kiyomizu-dera's wooden stage. As lanterns come on, stroll Gion's stone streets.
Morning in Nara: bowing deer in the park and the Great Buddha filling Todai-ji's wooden hall — one of the largest wooden buildings on earth. Continue to Osaka in the afternoon and dive into Dotonbori after dark: neon on the canal, takoyaki straight off the griddle.
A last morning: Osaka Castle above its moats and a grazing run through Kuromon Market — grilled scallops, fresh fruit, one more matcha. Private transfer to Kansai Airport (or Itami/Shin-Osaka Station) whenever your flight calls.
