📍 Itinerary idea

1. Fujisan world heritage center20 minutes

   Features a massive 3D model of Mt. Fuji made of paper, lit up with dynamic light displays showing the mountain's changing seasons and light conditions. You can learn about the culture and history of Mount Fuji.

2. Mt. Fuji 5th Station30 minutes

   Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station sits halfway up the mountain at an altitude of 2,300 meters (7,546 feet). It serves as the primary starting point for hikers taking the Yoshida Trail, as well as a popular gateway for sightseeing visitors who want close-up views of the peak without climbing.

3. Lake Kawaguchi30 minutes

   Lake Kawaguchiko is the most accessible and versatile of the Fuji Five Lakes. Located right at the northern base of Mount Fuji, it is famous for offering some of the most iconic, postcard-perfect views of the mountain reflected across the water.

4. Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba (Traditional Japanese Village)1 hour

   Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba is a reconstructed traditional Japanese village situated near Lake Saiko, featuring charming thatched-roof farmhouses with Mount Fuji acting as a dramatic backdrop. The site originally housed a historic farming community before it was destroyed by a typhoon in 1966, and has since been restored into an immersive, open-air cultural museum.

5. Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine30 minutes

   Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of the most historically significant Shinto shrines in Japan. Located at the northern base of Mount Fuji inside a dense, ancient forest, it historically served as the traditional starting point for pilgrims ascending the mountain via the Yoshida Trail. The towering trees and the moss-covered stone lanterns are beautiful—a truly spectacular sight.

6. Oshino Hakkai1 hour

   Oshino Hakkai is a picturesque tourist village located between Lake Yamanakako and Lake Kawaguchiko. It is famous for its eight crystal-clear ponds fed by melted snow from Mount Fuji, which filters down through underground lava layers for over 80 years before surfacing.
