[Choose a Japanese name in "Kanji" and make a lifelong Hanko (seal)!] "Hanko" is a traditional Japanese culture. In this tour, our guide will ask about your personality and hobbies, and suggest a beautiful Kanji name perfectly suited for you! Once your name is decided, you will order your authentic personal Hanko at a specialty shop. While waiting for it to be finished, let's head out to find souvenirs in Shinjuku 3-chome! We will guide you to unique shops featuring Japanese subculture and miscellaneous goods. Children 12 and under are free, making this an ideal cultural experience for families.

Tanya jawab

Can I enjoy it even if I know almost nothing about Japan?

Yes. This 60-minute tour is perfect for your "Japan debut." There are no difficult explanations. It is designed for everyone to enjoy.

What is the dynamic with the guide like?

The concept is that the guide is your "Japanese friend," not a teacher. There are no one-sided lectures; the focus is on conversation. You can join in a relaxed manner, feeling like you are walking through the city with a friend.

How much does the Hanko cost? Is it included in the tour fee?

The Hanko fee is not included in the tour price. Please pay directly at the shop (Credit cards accepted). The estimated price is from 3,300 JPY for a plastic Hanko, and from 10,000 JPY for an authentic Hanko. An additional express finishing fee (from 550 JPY) is required.

How long is the wait for the Hanko?

The minimum wait is 60 minutes (about 90 minutes for 2 pieces). This may vary depending on how busy the shop is on the day. Since the tour itself ends in 60 minutes, guests will need to go directly to the shop to pick up their completed Hanko themselves.

Can children make a Hanko too?

Yes, of course. Participation in the tour is free for children 12 and under, but if they wish to create their own Hanko, a separate Hanko fee must be paid at the shop.
