13:00 — Mid-mountain lunch

• Sanroku Restaurant — miso ramen ¥1,300
• Eat while watching the juhyo

15:30 — Juhyo "Snow Monsters"

• Aomori fir trees frozen + snow-rimed into surreal shapes
• Peak mid-late February
• Take the gondola for a "monster forest" loop

17:00 — Night light-up

• 18:00–21:30 low season
• LED-lit juhyo — pure sci-fi
• 19:00 Zao Dai-rotenburo onsen
• The largest open-air onsen in the area — ¥700
• Bathe under stars and falling snow

21:00 — Back to Yamagata + shinkansen to Tokyo
