Visit: Mt. Fuji and Hakone Area
Duration: 10 hours (approx.)
Lunch: Not Included
Language: English/Japanese/Chinese/Portuguese/Spanish/Dutch/Nepalese
Two landmarks that sit side by side, yet linking them by public transport eats the day in train, ropeway and boat transfers. A private car takes the Hakone Skyline directly — the best Fuji view in the area — then loops Lake Ashi and Owakudani without queueing for a ticket at every leg.
Enjoy the natural scenic beauty of Mt. Fuji and experience the healing powers of Hakone’s therapeutic hot springs. This tour provides you with an opportunity to view Mt. Fuji, a world-famous Japanese icon, and explore the most popular hot spring resort in Japan.
Visiting Mount Fuji and Hakone, in particular, can be time-consuming without a car. This tour allows you to efficiently visit recommended spots in Mount Fuji and Hakone while listening to a driver-guide's commentary, making it perfect for those with limited time.
※Please note that Mt. Fuji may not be visible depending on the weather conditions.

Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Eggs cooked in Owakudani's hot spring pools with their shells blackened by the sulfur are on sale at shops in the area, and eating one is said to prolong one's life by seven years. (It takes 1hour from Lake Kawaguchi to Hakone and travelers usually stay at Owaku-dani Valley for 40mins)

A private vehicle for the whole day · driver · fuel · hotel pickup
⚠ Price covers car, driver and fuel. It does NOT include a guide, entry tickets, expressway tolls or parking.
🗓 All private tours must be booked at least 7 days ahead.
Up to 6 guests per vehicle — beyond that we add a second car.
The cancellation terms for your trip are written into your quote, and you read them BEFORE you pay anything.
We do not post one blanket rule like "cancel X days ahead for Y% back" across this section, because every trip holds different bookings: an aircraft charter, a ryokan room, a supercar, a table with a handful of seats. Each supplier has its own terms and most are paid up front. One shared number reads tidily and would be the wrong number on most trips.
The rule we hold to: anything not yet paid out to a supplier can be cancelled, and anything already paid that the supplier will not refund we call non-refundable out loud — at quote time, not at the moment you ask to cancel. If you want a different date, ask before cancelling: moving a booking usually costs far less than dropping it.
