[Hokkaido Regular Sightseeing Bus] R Autumn Shinsen Marsh & Niseko Great Nature Experience Course ~Unexplored Shinsen Marsh, Tastes of the Earth, and Kyogoku's Top 100 Spring Waters~
Scenery, food, and activities galore! Fully enjoy autumn in Niseko.
Before full-fledged winter arrives, Niseko is packed with spots where you can enjoy Hokkaido's short autumn—crisp autumn weather, autumn leaves, great food, and hot springs! Our regular sightseeing bus will guide you to the Niseko area, woven with mountains, trees, and clear streams!
About 3 hours after departing from Sapporo, the first destination is "Shinsen-numa" (Shinsen Marsh). This is a mystical marsh named for being "a place where gods and hermits seem to live." With well-maintained walking trails, you can enjoy a roughly 20-minute one-way hike from the parking lot to the marsh. Please admire the trees dyed in autumn colors and the marsh reflecting the surrounding scenery like a mirror.
After enjoying the hike, satisfy your appetite with the "Makkari Village Herb Pork Sukiyaki Gozen." Located at the foot of Niseko Annupuri, "Niseko Nook Annupuri" is a restaurant offering menus that focus on local ingredients. The pork, raised on herb-enriched feed in neighboring Makkari Village, stands out for its sweetness and richness, and you can savor its high-quality meat to the fullest in a sukiyaki hot pot!
After lunch, enjoy free time exploring the surroundings. Nearby, you'll find the "Niseko Annupuri Gondola," "Ikoi-no-Yuyado Iroha," and the "Niseko Distillery." As optional activities, you can enjoy an autumn stroll in the sky on the gondola, bathe in hot springs known as the "waters of beautiful skin," or taste gin that won the title of world's best at an international competition. (The gondola operation schedule is undetermined as of May 25.)
Overlooking Mt. Yotei, "Niseko Milk Kobo" is famous for its sweets made with fresh raw milk from the adjacent Takahashi Dairy Farm! A diverse lineup is available, including soft-serve ice cream, drinking yogurt, cream puffs, pudding, and roll cakes, all allowing you to enjoy the original taste of the ingredients.
The final stop on this course is "Kyogoku Fukidashi Park." With about 80,000 tons of Mt. Yotei's snowmelt gushing out daily, it is one of Japan's top spring water spots, selected as one of the Ministry of the Environment's "Top 100 Spring Waters" and a "Hokkaido Heritage." The park has well-maintained walking paths that utilize the abundant water volume and nature, along with many water-drawing spots. We recommend bringing empty plastic bottles or containers so you can drink or take home the famous water. The roadside station "Meisui no Sato Kyogoku" is also located here, where famous water coffee and famous water coffee jelly are popular products.
Every spot visited on this course is a place where you can feel the blessings of Niseko's nature and the majesty of Mt. Yotei. Please fully enjoy Niseko's short autumn before the snow falls.
