Ukiyo-e Woodblock Printing Experience (Admission Included)

Enjoy the traditional Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock printing experience. Choose from three courses: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Try creating your own ukiyo-e print under the guidance of an instructor. Using original woodblocks from the Ukiyo-e Museum, you will layer and print 3–4 colors onto high-quality washi paper. Even first-time participants can create a unique finished piece through differences in how they apply the paint, rub the baren, and apply pressure.
