Ancient Orient Museum

“Museum Collection Exhibition” features displays drawn from the museum’s own holdings and deposited materials. The Orient—where Africa, Europe, and Asia intersect—has long been a crossroads of diverse cultures, shaping human history in profound ways. By viewing the artifacts and works of art left behind by the ancient Orient, visitors can feel the presence and vitality of ancient peoples more closely. As an accompanying exhibition, “Close-Up Exhibition: Kish – Exploring the Ancient Mesopotamian City Ruins” will be held from February 14 (Sat), 2026 to March 29 (Sun), 2026. Additionally, from January 4 (Sun), 2026 to February 3 (Tue), 2026, a special corner display will introduce materials related to horses, in connection with the zodiac animal of the New Year.
