Experience the natural beauty of 北海道, where majestic mountains intertwine with crystal-clear waters, on a bus tour!
This regular sightseeing bus tour takes you on a journey through the summer landscapes of the 新雪谷 area and 支笏湖, allowing you to fully enjoy the region’s beautiful nature!
Your first stop is “京极涌水公园.” Approximately 80,000 tons of snowmelt from 羊蹄山 spring forth here every day. The water has been selected by the Ministry of the Environment as one of Japan’s “名水百选” and is also recognized as a “北海道遗产,” making it one of Japan’s premier natural spring attractions. The park features walking paths that make full use of its abundant water and natural surroundings, as well as multiple water-drawing points. You can drink the famous spring water on site or bring containers such as plastic bottles in advance to take some home. The park is also home to the roadside station “名水之乡京极,” whose popular products include spring-water coffee and spring-water coffee jelly.
Lunch will be served at “Niseko Nook Annupuri,” located at the foot of Mount Annupuri in 新雪谷. You can enjoy the “真狩村产香草猪寿喜锅御膳.” 真狩村, located near 新雪谷町, is known for pork raised on herb-enriched feed. The meat has a rich, subtly sweet flavor, and the sukiyaki allows you to fully savor its exceptional quality.
After lunch, visit “新雪谷蒸馏所,” a whisky and gin distillery established in 2019. The facility belongs to the Hakkaisan Brewery Group, a long-established brewery in 新泻县 known for “八海山.” Its premium gin has even won the highest award at an international competition! Tastings are also available on site, including not only gin but also plum wine, shochu, and other alcoholic beverages.
At “新雪谷牛奶工房,” where you can enjoy views of 羊蹄山, you will find a wide selection of desserts made with fresh milk from the nearby 高桥牧场. From soft-serve ice cream and drinking yogurt that preserve the original flavors of the ingredients to cream puffs, pudding, Swiss rolls, and more, there is something for everyone.
After leaving the 新雪谷 area, the final stop is “支笏湖,” one of Japan’s most renowned lakes for its exceptional clarity. Get off the bus and admire the clear blue lake, where the surrounding light glitters across the surface, creating a view you will not want to leave. The lakeside “支笏湖游客中心” provides information about this lake, formed by volcanic activity over tens of thousands of years, as well as the plants and animals found in the surrounding area. For an additional fee, you can also board the “支笏湖观光船” to view the lakebed through the underwater sightseeing boat, or enjoy a leisurely ride across the lake on a swan boat.
A professional driver will safely operate the bus throughout this journey of more than 230km, ensuring a comfortable experience from start to finish. The opportunity to leisurely explore attractions across the vast lands of 北海道 is one of the greatest appeals of a regular sightseeing bus tour. We sincerely invite you to enjoy this relaxing journey and experience the beauty of nature at your own pace.
