Helicopter to Mt. Fuji, an Alphard waiting at the foot
Fly out of Tokyo and reach the Mt. Fuji area in about half an hour instead of two and a half hours by road. Step off the aircraft and a seven-seat Alphard and its driver are already waiting at the foot of the mountain — the whole party travels together, nobody gets split across two cars. Lunch is at a ryokan that looks straight at the mountain; the flight back lands you in Tokyo by late afternoon. Nothing about the day involves a queue.

Private coffee omakase, four seats
A counter down a side street with exactly four seats and one person working across from you. There is no menu to choose from — the barista decides by what beans came in that week, the way an omakase sushi counter works. The tasting itself runs about ninety minutes.

Behind the wheel2 jours
Two days by chauffeured luxury car: the Hakone pass, the Fuji lakes, Daikoku at night
Two days in one of three cars — a seven-seat Alphard, a Lexus LM500, or a Mercedes G63 — with your own driver throughout. Day one climbs the Hakone pass while the road is still empty, then loops the lakes under Mount Fuji. Day two comes down through Yokohama and ends at Daikoku, the elevated car park in the middle of Tokyo Bay where the whole Kanto car scene gathers. A bilingual guide stays with you both days.

Watch hunting in Tokyo with a specialist
Tokyo is one of the few cities on earth where the pre-owned watch trade is both deep enough and honest enough to be worth flying for. The reason is particular to Japan: buyers here prize a legible dial and a movement that keeps time over unusual complications, so watches get worn carefully, serviced on schedule and kept with their box and papers — buying a ten-year-old piece in Tokyo is not the same transaction as buying that same piece elsewhere. The city runs all three tiers at once: authorised boutiques, the grey market, and unmarked third-floor dealers you would never find alone. The person with you works in the trade rather than in tourism: they check the condition, sanity-check the asking price against the market, and know which shops deal straight. You do not have to be a collector to come — most people who book this are looking for their first serious watch.

Speakeasies then a club: a Tokyo night with your own host
Tokyo has thousands of bars behind unmarked doors on the seventh floor of an office block that will not seat a stranger who walks in. Our night host knows which doors open and calls ahead — so the evening reaches places you would stand outside of on your own. It opens with a booked dinner, runs through a few cocktail rooms, and ends at a table already held for you in a club. We handle the reservations, the car and the talking at the door. Once your deposit is in, we send a list of restaurants, bars and clubs to pick from by taste and by budget — there is no fixed route, because a night that suits one group bores another.

Two days in a campervan around Hakone, with a guide
You drive one campervan; the guide follows in another. One night at a lakeside campsite — firewood, cooking gear and bedding are already there, so the evening is only cooking and sitting by the fire. Fine for beginners and for families with children.

A private onsen day with an onsen-certified guide
Two hot springs in one day — one old-style, one modern — with a guide who knows the etiquette and explains each step. This is the experience foreign visitors most often skip for fear of getting it wrong; with someone who knows, that fear disappears.
