1. Eligibility Requirements
You must have lived in the country that issued your license for at least 3 months AFTER the license issue date
License must still be valid (or expired within 6 months)
You must have valid residency status in Japan
⚠️ Note: License holders from Vietnam, China, Philippines, etc. must pass both a written and practical test. Holders from treaty countries (France, Germany, Australia, etc.) are often exempt from the practical test.
