7-Eleven "7SPOT" — FREE 60 min
Register once at 7-eleven.co.jp/wifi using email. Valid across all 20,000+ 7-Eleven stores. 60 min per session, renewable. Good for quick map/message checks while walking.
Starbucks "at_STARBUCKS_Wi2"
Open, no registration. 1-click T&C. Speed 10-30 Mbps. Available in all Japan Starbucks. Limit 1 hour per session — reconnect for more.
JR East Train Stations
"JR-EAST_FREE_Wi-Fi" at major JR East stations (Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno…). 3 hours per session, renewable. Email registration.
Tokyo Metro
"Metro_Free_Wi-Fi_oneClick" at all Tokyo Metro stations. Works inside trains for some newer trains (2020+). Very limited on older Ginza/Marunouchi cars.
