In Japan a vehicle carrying more than 10 passengers cannot be self-driven β the law requires a commercially licensed driver and a green number plate (η·γγ³γγΌ). The green plate certifies the vehicle is registered for commercial transport, carries compulsory insurance and meets road-safety standards.
